Health Innovation West Midlands (HIWM), formerly West Midlands Academic Health Science Network, is one of 15 NHS-funded Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) across the UK and is dedicated to promoting innovation in healthcare and providing the West Midlands with better access to the latest technologies and medical discoveries.

Over the past four years, we have been delivering communications support to HIWM to raise awareness of the network and what it does, positioning HIWM as industry experts in healthcare innovation, and increasing engagement through social media channels.

Following the Government and NHS England's decision to relicense England's AHSNs for a further five years, under the title Health Innovation Networks, Liquid was also engaged to support HIWM with the preparations to launch the new name.
