The PRCA is the world’s largest PR professional body, representing over 30,000 practitioners, operating in 66 countries around the world.

Pan island Liquid, a fully integrated communications consultancy, hosted the inaugural PRCA Channel Islands Group launch event at Project 52 in Jersey on Tuesday 17 September.

The evening kicked off with Liquid’s director Channel Islands and chair of the new Group, Lisa Downes, introducing Francis Ingham MPRCA, Director General of the PRCA, and Jerry Ward, Founder and Managing Director of Press Data, to the room of PR and communication professionals.

Francis led an insightful review of the latest stats and figures from the PRCA Communications Census 2019 tour that took place in May, including an update on the gender pay gap, AVEs and social mobility; he provided a truly holistic overview of the state of our industry. Jerry on the other hand, passionately led a discussion on the critical and apt topics of measurement and evaluation.

It was a fantastic evening and great chance to network with our peers in the industry over a glass of wine.
