Liquid’s CEO wins Businesswoman of the Year at Signature Awards 2025

Elisabeth Lewis-Jones, CEO of integrated communications consultancy Liquid, has been declared Business Woman of the Year at The Signature Awards, held on 7th February at the Vox Conference Venue in Birmingham.
The Signature Awards celebrate the best in business and shine a light on the professionals and entrepreneurs who provide cutting edge thinking and drive operational excellence in their field.
Lis founded Liquid in 2004 in her mother’s garage, today it is a global, award-winning integrated communications agency operating across 26 jurisdictions and 19 time zones. From its HQ in Birmingham, Liquid first expanded overseas to the Channel Islands in both Jersey and Guernsey in 2011 and in 2023, added Brisbane, Australia. Over the years Lis has cemented her position as a recognised leader in her industry. She was the first person from the Midlands to be CIPR President in 2008. She went on to Chair the PRCA Council in 2011/12. She introduced Chartered Practitioner status to the industry and the first PR awards to be held outside of London.
Lis received Fellowship of the PRCA in 2024 in recognition of her contribution to the global PR industry, Freedom of the City of London in 2023 and in 2025 was named by PRovoke Media as one of 25 innovators in PR in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Lis has also been a mentor to the Government Communications Service, a charity trustee of IPRovision, the Benevolent Fund of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, Jersey. She has hosted the 5th Global Alliance World Public Relations Conference and Festival in London and has spoken at PR conferences worldwide, including in Argentina, Bahrain, Nigeria, and South Africa.
Outside of PR, Lis has been a Govenor of Bloxham School, Oxfordshire for 15 years and Chair of Governors for five.
