Liquid launches Source graduate training scheme
Liquid has launched a work-focused graduate training scheme, providing a springboard for talented young professionals wishing to pursue a career in PR.
The first Source graduates will join the team in September 2020 and applications are now open. Successful candidates will be passionate about PR, communications and marketing and will have the opportunity to learn while they earn. They will gain valuable agency experience and play an integral role in the success of Liquid and its clients.
Source graduates will become part of the Liquid family while obtaining skills including media relations, influencer marketing, digital communications and issues management. They will also have the opportunity to hone essential skills such as delivering polished presentations, public speaking and generating creative ideas.
The two-year programme covers 10 modules through a combination of in-house and external training, attending PRCA courses, PRCA webinars and podcasts, plus other online training including Google Digital Garage.
Graduates will benefit from a hugely varied workload and client base – and will get a taste of the food, hospitality, financial services, property and education sectors.
Account executive Kara Doyle joined Liquid during her university placement year. She says: “Working with the team for the past six months has been incredible. Having joined Liquid with very little knowledge of PR, I can certainly say I’ve learnt a lot.
“From attending events, to supporting with client work, the Liquid team has encouraged me to get involved and colleagues have taken time to support me every step of the way. The variety of clients has not only helped me to develop new skills but also my understanding of the breadth of what PR entails. I’m looking forward to applying in 2021.”
