Cheers to Liquid on our 17th birthday
It’s been a brilliant week here at Liquid as Monday marked our 17th birthday!
From our beginnings back in 2004 in a room above Lis’ mum’s garage, to expanding our teams in Birmingham and the Channel Islands, it’s fair to say we have grown exponentially over the past 17 years.
This week we received the perfect presents, as our hard work was recognised in the PRCA Dare Awards nominations and the PR Week Top 150 rankings.
The PRCA Dare Awards are the UK’s leading regional PR awards, recognising the talent and impact of individuals, teams and campaigns. We are very pleased to announce that we have been nominated for eight awards:
West Midlands Region
- Consumer Relations Award sponsored by 3Gem: For our Pure Canadian maple syrup and the 2020 banana bread boom campaign
- Digital and Social Media Award: For using Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust’s social channels to ‘Strike a Change’
- Integrated Campaign of the Year Award: For Inspiring a nation of home cooks with pure Canadian maple syrup
- Large Consultancy of the Year
South West Region

On top of these nominations, Liquid has been named the 5th largest PR agency working within the public sector. Our continued work with clients such as West Midlands 5G, the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network and Transport for West Midlands has helped us to maintain our position as one of the UK’s leading agencies for public sector work.
We’ve also been celebrating moving up the PR Week Top 150 by 17 places to 109th from our 126th position in 2020. Despite the pandemic, a global recession, and whilst working remotely, we have been able to sustain growth and keep delivering great results for our clients.
None of these achievements would have been possible without our brilliant team and their continuous passion and hard work, and our fantastic clients for trusting us to do a great job for them year after year.
